Class Descriptions

Group classes will be divided by level

CARDIO TENNIS: Open to all levels.Cardio Tennis pushes your fitness to a new level with a high energy workout! It’s a fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate high energy workout. Includes warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phases. If you want to find a healthy, new way to get in shape and to burn calories…try Cardio Tennis!

BEGINNER TENNIS: This class is for those who have little or no knowledge or the game of tennis. Students will learn the mechanics of the basic strokes, scoring, and tennis etiquette.

INTERMEDIATE TENNIS: This class is designed for students who know the tennis basics and are looking to raise their game to the next level. We will be reviewing the basic strokes, court movement, and footwork. Class time will focus on consistency in strokes, and strategy in playing singles and doubles.

ADVANCED TENNIS: This class is designed for former high school or college tennis players or top club players looking to be challenged with fast paced drills designed to improve conditioning, strategy, and mental toughness.

SOCIAL TENNIS: Open to all levels. This is a 2 hour event where players are mixed with different partners during the event to make it fun and challenging for all.

TEAM TENNIS: Open to all levels. This is an opportunity for all levels to do fun drills working on match strategies and mental toughness. There will be some technical instruction but the focus is to become more comfortable playing matches. Social match play will be arranged with other clubs for those interested. This is a more affordable way for players, club teams, school teams to get high level coaching.
